The Betty Strong Encounter Center will host “The Art of Faking It” with Sioux City musician Noah Towns at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4. Admission will be free; a reception will follow.

The audience will be treated to an hour of favorite 20th century pop music, featuring songs by Ben Folds, Leonard Cohen and Queen, performed by a classically trained musician.

“I’ll play my favorite songs and share stories of my experience and perspective of the Sioux City music scene,” says Towns.

A Sioux City native, Towns is a graduate of Morningside College and North High School. He is the associate choir director at West High School.

Towns plays keyboard and is a vocalist for the Emily Johnson Band. He is a cantor at Congregation Beth Shalom.
