DESCRIPTION:It is time to have a little fun playing outdoor water games at 10:00am on Saturday\, July 18\, 2026\, at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.  No admission charge\, but free will donations encouraged. \nEven Lewis and Clark and the boys took time to relax! So today is our turn! We will pull out a variety of games\, from colonial times and today. Some you may know and some may be new to you. \nGames will be outside\, so dress expecting to get wet. Recommended for youth up to 8th grade; all kids are welcome. SUMMARY:Rivercade Parade: Walk with Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center
DESCRIPTION:That’s right! We are planning to have a contingency of our own friends and supporters walking in the Rivercade Parade on July 29\, 2026. Meet at 5:30pm at 4th & Iowa St. Parade starts at 6:30pm and runs from 4th & Court to 4th & Nebraska St. \nThe participants from our Big Head Making class will be wearing their heads as they walk.  The participants from our Trash to Fashion class will be wearing the fashion they created from discarded items. Anyone interested in joining the group can walk and wave and show their support for the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. \nThe parade is ½ mile long\, so be sure to wear proper walking shoes\, not sandals and flip flops. DESCRIPTION:Let’s have an end of summer blast! It will take place at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center Betty Strong Encounter Center on Saturday\, August 1\, 2026 at 10:00am. No admission is charged\, but freewill donations are encouraged. \nWe will play all kinds of outdoor games\, try an obstacle course\, and so much more.  We may even have some water games! Be ready to get wet!  Wear fun clothes and sturdy shoes and bring a towel.  Sunscreen and hats are also encouraged.
