The event is free to all. \nTraditional Native games had many purposes: bringing people together\, stimulating social interaction\, teaching skills\, patience\, and endurance\, qualities important to being a good person. \nFew of the games were meant to be played alone. Capturing the spectacle and the excitement\, along with the humorous things that happen in the course of a game was more important than focusing on the rules.

We will discover a lot of different tasks the Corps of Discovery had to do every day\, and we will discuss the tools and techniques they used to accomplish it all. Students will even make and take home a Lewis and Clark tool of their own! \nOur 45-minute sessions typically include a storybook and/or short video\, digitally interactive lessons\, and a hands-on craft or activity.
