On Thursday we were excited to get a visit from the Prospectors group of the Bald Eagle Boys Camp in Mill Hall PA. They had written to us in February about their planned 1000 mile trip down the Missouri River and how they wanted to include our center as a stop. We sent them information about us.
We learned they had left Yankton SD and were headed to Ilinois on their raft. Every two weeks they will meet with a support vehicle who brings them supplies. When they stopped here, they simply parked the raft on shore and walked up. Quite an adventure for these wonderful young men. We wish them great success on the trip.
