On Wednesday, June 17 or Saturday, June 20, come see if you can help answer the question of “Where Have All the Flowers Come From?
In the summer months the Lewis and Clark Expedtion was greeted with wide open prairies of native grasses and flowers, many of which can be found on the grounds of the Interpretive Center. After learning a little about them, you will get to play “detective” to find those plants. Lastly, you will go outside to plant some perennials to help keep the prairie alive and become part of the legacy of Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.
Be sure to dress prepared to go outside. Our summer classes are recommended for students up to 8th grade, but all kids are welcome. No admission fee, but freewill donations encouraged.
