Spring is on its way!  On Saturday, March 14, 2026, join Ms. Amy at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center to Make a Seed Starter Kit. No registration is required for this free class. The class is held at 12:30pm for grades 5-8. Admission is free, but freewill donations encouraged.

With the seasons changing, it is time to think about getting some seedlings growing. While Captain Lewis had sent to President Jefferson plant cuttings of the newly discovered plants, we have to rely on using seeds to get our plants started.

The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center/Betty Strong Encounter Center was built and is sustained by the Missouri River Historic Development Organization as a gift of history to the community. For more information call 712-224-5242. Find the Center at www.siouxcitylcic.com or www.facebook.com/sclandc
