We have exciting news! The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is introducing two new program series for Fall 2026. A detailed brochure will be available at the Center and details on specific classes will be on the Center’s website at https://siouxcitylcic.com/events-classes/
The W-O-W What’s on Wednesday new program series starts in October and will be held the first Wednesday of each month over the lunch hour from 12:00-1:30pm in the Center’s multi-purpose room. You are welcome to bring your lunch! Some of the W-O-W What’s on Wednesday programs charge a small fee (the program description will have that information). An Association Membership discount will apply. Registration is a requirement for participation in most WOW programs. You can register by phone, in person, or by mail. When registering, please give your name, address, phone number, and email.
Moms’ Wednesday Time-Out and MiMi’s Music is the other exciting new Wednesday program series starting this fall. This series is designed for moms with young children who would like to get together with other moms with young children for some fun learning and some fellowship. At this time, we are unable to care for children who are wearing diapers. The best part is that mom doesn’t have to find a sitter. While the moms are learning and laughing at Moms’ Wednesday Time-Out, the children will be singing and playing at MiMi’s Music. All classes will be taught by professionals and retired educators in a nearby room. They will be learning nursery rhymes, poems, and simple movements and play rhythm instruments to express themselves through music and sound. Grandma or another trusted adult are welcome to come along with them.
Moms’ Wednesday Time-Out and MiMi’s Music will meet each Wednesday morning from 10:00am-11:30am beginning October 7 and running through December 16th. Registration is a requirement for participation in the classes. You can register by phone, in person, or by mail. When registering, please give your name, address, phone number, and email.
