National History Day Informational Meeting

This year’s Young Historians group will be participating in the National History Day competition. The first round of competition will be held at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa; the second round will be held in Des Moines, Iowa; and the final round of competition will be in Washington, D.C. Hanna Howard, National History Day Coordinator for the State of Iowa, will join our class by Zoom and enlighten students about the details and procedures for participating in this renowned competition. Students will then begin the process of selecting a project to fit within this year’s National History Day theme: Turning Points in History.
