Each year, Iowa Poetry Association hosts a series of poetry slams across the state in the search for an Iowa champion. This year the Sioux City Qualifier will be held at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center Betty Strong Encounter Center. The event will be February 29, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
