The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and CF Industries Growers’ Academy’s Community Garden is growing well. The kids enjoyed planting the seeds and seeing the growth. Recently they fertilized the plots and of course watered them. Lessons in not holding the hose in one spot was learned! Watch for updates on the vegetables as the summer progresses.

Center Hosts Ribbon-Cutting for Spirit of Discovery Stage
On Wednesday, June 14, the Center hosted members of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and other guests for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating completion of the first phase of construction of our outdoor Spirit of Discovery stage.
Center Receives $1,000 Walmart Grant
The Center has been awarded a $1,000 Local Community Grant from Walmart. Each year, Walmart’s U.S. stores and Sam’s Clubs award local cash grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 to address the unique needs of the communities where it operates.
