October 5 at 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm

The Lewis and Clark Expedition was a really big adventure! But did you ever wonder what kinds of tools the Corps of Discovery would have had with them? Did you ever wonder how they built forts, made burned-out canoes, and even mended or made their own clothing? We will discover a lot of different tasks the Corps of Discovery had to do every day, and we will discuss the tools and techniques they used to accomplish it all. Students will even make and take home a Lewis and Clark tool of their own!

Our 45-minute sessions typically include a storybook and/or short video, digitally interactive lessons, and a hands-on craft or activity. By catering to multiple learning styles during each session, students are more likely to store what they learn in their long-term memory, and also have a LOT of fun!
