On Saturday, June 28, 2025, come experience “Owl Tales” at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. This free class is held from 11:00am-1:00pm and is open to any age. No registration required.
Participants will hear the wonderful story Owl Moon by Jane Yolen, a gentle, poetic story that lovingly depicts the special companionship of a young child and her father as well as humankind’s close relationship to the natural world. Through the story they will learn about owling (finding and observing owls at night) and learn about other nocturnal animals.
Finally, participants will create their own owl to take home.
