What is a Weed?

What are weeds, and how do you know what is a weed and what might be something beneficial to your garden? Local plant expert Rich Pope will join us to teach us all about which plants are good for your garden, and which plants you should pull to help your garden thrive.

The Growers’ Academy is a sixteen-week course which includes classes on topics such as soil preparation, nutrition, and community responsibility. Each class includes a 45-minute classroom lesson and 45 minutes working in the Center’s new Community Garden.
