On Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00pm in the auditorium of the Betty Strong Encounter Center Sisters from the Outlaw Trail, Teresa Kay Orr and Marci Broyhill, will share western heritage with their program, “Working the Land.” 

On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm, Jack and Mike Langley will celebrate “Songs for Autumn and Grandparents’ Day.”

On Sunday September 13, 2026, at 2:00pm Byron Kuehl, one of Sioux City’s most sought after solo acoustic acts, will perform at the Betty Strong Encounter Center. Admission is free, but freewill donations encouraged.

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 2:00pm in the Betty Strong Encounter Center auditorium, author and historian Scott Culpepper will lead a guided tour of Mary Queen of Scots’ (1542-1587) remarkable life and times in this interactive presentation. Admission is free, but freewill donations encouraged.

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:00pm, the Betty Strong Encounter Center will host talented singer Amy Ellsworth. Admission is free, but freewill donations encouraged.

On October 18, 2026, at 2:00pm the Betty Strong Encounter Center welcomes talented guitar player/singer Mark Buckingham. Admission is free, but freewill donations are encouraged.
