The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is pleased to announce it has recently been awarded a grant from the Kind World Foundation. The Kind World Foundation grant of $10,000 will contribute toward funding for our summer series of K-12 educational programs. (Growers’ Academy and Community Garden is an exception: it is fully funded by CF Industries.)
The new funding will allow the Center to offer:
- Lewis and Clark Kids’ Club (grades 6-8), a youth travel club to promote cultural awareness and encourage a love of the humanities through various field trips, and
- Family Camp (all ages), an evening program where the entire family can engage in some fun and educational activities together.
