“Adventure Saturdays” is a series of classes for children at the Center from September through December. The goal of the series is to expose youth to experiences, people, and cultures that they typically do not encounter, often viewed through an historical perspective. We make the classes not only educational and culturally enriching, but also fun!
The Center’s new Education Coordinator Amanda Gibson has planned and will lead most of the classes, but we will shake things up with an occasional guest instructor.
Each class is offered to two age groups (K-3rd Grade and 4-6th Grade), with instruction tailored to be age appropriate. K-3rd Grade classes are from 1:00 to 2:00, and 4-6th Grade classes are from 2:30 to 3:30.
All classes are free, registration is required and class size is limited.
