The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and Betty Strong Encounter Center will commemorate the anniversary of the Corps of Discovery’s stay in Siouxland as well as the death of Sgt. Charles Floyd during its fourth annual Sgt. Floyd Weekend. Events will take place from August 18 through 20.
Sgt. Floyd Week will contain a wide variety of free, family-friendly events. The festivities will run in conjunction with the Sgt. Floyd River Boat and Welcome Center’s encampment weekend.
Events and programming at the Center are free.
