The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is pleased to be partnering with several groups this summer to offer diverse educational programs. It is our goal to bring a variety of cultural and history education to a wide range of individuals. Our six-week summer courses will focus on the scientific endeavors of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Partner and programming details follow:
- New Perspectives Inc. will have a class each Wednesday for the month of June. New Perspectives Inc. enhances the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through innovative, individualized programs and services, helping them to be as self-sufficient as possible.
- Boys and Girls Club of Siouxland is a summer and afterschool program for youth and provides innovative, quality programs designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy productive lives. Grades 1-3 will have a class each Tuesday. Grades 4-6 will have a class each Thursday.
- Sanford Center’s Youth Program introduces children in their summer program to new and unique experiences. Through partnership with our Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, the students study history.
