It’s really up to you

The Center has a wide range of free programming options for adults and families. You might take in one of our Sunday afternoon shows, enjoy events at our outdoor Spirit of Discovery Stage, learn about the Lewis and Clark Expedition with a guided or unguided tour or just have lunch in our picnic area.

If our facilities spark your imagination, you may have ideas of your own. We’d love to hear them! We encourage you to suggest out-of-the-box ways we can use our resources to bring culturally enriching exhibits, events and “happenings” to the Center. We are on a mission to introduce the Center to a broader, more diverse audience, so we’re open to just about anything. Best of all? We have the resources to work with you to nurture your ideas to fruition.

Opportunities

The Center was built and is sustained entirely through grants and donations and it belongs not to the staff or Board, but to the community. We warmly invite you to use it!

Please tell us about:

  • An artist whose work would make a great exhibit in our gallery.
  • A performer, teacher or lecturer who can bring knowledge and/or entertainment to our guests.
  • A subject of interest to the community – especially if it’s historically and/or culturally significant – that would make an interesting temporary wall exhibit.
  • A social or service club that could benefit from a nice place to meet.
  • Tell us about your idea!

Through our Association Membership, you become eligible for advance programming notices and an annual members-only celebration.

The Center is a fun, casual place to meet guests from all over the world. We have a small group of loyal volunteers, and we welcome new applicants. Learn more here.
