Have you heard of “quilling”? This creative art form has become quite popular lately. If you would like to learn the basics of quilling, then on Wednesday, October 14, 10:00am-11:30am, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is holding a class on Quilling: A Paper Art as part of their Moms’ Time-Out series. Admission is free, but registration is a requirement for participation in the classes. You can register by phone, in person, or by mail. When registering, please give your name, address, phone number, and email.
We encourage anyone to attend but moms with young children are specifically invited because the Center has arranged for them to be entertained in a nearby room. At MiMi’s Place they will be learning nursery rhymes, poems, and simple movements and play rhythm instruments to express themselves through music and sound. At this time, we are unable to care for children who are wearing diapers. Grandma or another trusted adult are welcome to come along with the children.
