On Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 2:00pm, you are invited to attend a very special “Holiday Tea” at the Betty Strong Encounter Center. Come to enjoy a unique Victorian Tea party. Admission is free.
The afternoon will begin in the auditorium with a talk by talented Siouxland Artist Jeanne Emmons who will share information about watercolor painting while she demonstrates the technique. After a long career as an English Professor, Emmons embarked on her watercolor journey. She did not know how obsessed she would become. She admits to becoming intensely absorbed with the medium.
Following the program, guests will be treated to a unique tea service and a variety of savory and sweet delicacies. While guests enjoy the offerings, background music will enhance the experience. This memorable experience will be hosted by Gretchen Gondek and Tracy Bennett.
