February 5 at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center Betty Strong Encounter Center (the “Center”) is initiating “What’s on Wednesday (WOW) programming for both children and adults.

The Center will be offering free classes/events from 5:30pm-6:30pm on Wednesdays during February through June.  “We see this as an opportunity to support local businesses, especially the ones new to the area, and to provide something new for people to do in the evening,” stated Tracy Bennett, Executive Director. The series will feature programs for adults and activities for families on alternating weeks. Registration is not required, so stop by if you are in the neighborhood!

The first in this series of events will be for adults on February 5 in the Betty Strong Encounter Center meeting room.  Come spend an hour to learn from Pam Wurster about your local Connections Area Agency on Aging office. Learn about all the services that are offered at their agency. Come and make some connections with others. Contact Kristine Bornholtz (kbornholtz@siouxcitylcic.com) or 712-224-5242 if you have any questions.
