Event Series Event Series: Sundays at the Center

August 18 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Buck ‘n Bill, an acoustic guitar/vocal duo, had a fantastic crowd and a bunch of fun at their debut appearance in April.  They’re headed up the trail again, destination Betty Strong Encounter Center stage, Sunday, August 18 at 2:00 PM.

Buck ‘n Bill affectionately reference their trek across the “Mighty Mo” as the“Old Nebraska Way to the State of I-O-Way”. You never know exactly what these “cowboys” will perform, but more likely you will hear an eclectic mixture of country, folk, and blues. You will find their saddle bags packed with songs from the likes of Bob Wills, Carl Perkins, Neil Young, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, John Prine, and a couple of originals sprinkled in the mix.

Mark “Buck” Buckingham, a seasoned Midwest player, is an accomplished guitarist, banjo, dobro (an acoustic guitar), and piano player who “Sings from the Heart.”  “Bill” Settell, a “recovering drummer,” has a passion for playing his acoustic and a desire to “Bring out the Soul” in every song he sings.

Please join them in August: “Let’s have some fun!”
