K-3rd Grade: Campfire Stories

Storytelling isn’t only just for fun – it is also a very useful cultural tool and artform. As a class we will read some stories together and discuss how we can learn from stories. We will then engage in a sequencing activity using the story The Little Red Hen, and discuss how important it is to tell stories in a way that makes sense. Lastly, we will use image prompts for the children to create their own story together, as a class. Of course, no campfire storytelling session would be complete without smores!
