Members of the Sioux City Magic Club will entertain Center guests with family-friendly entertainment to celebrate the Halloween season. Each performer, ranging in age from 8 to…much older, will offer something a little different from the others, with each bringing something fun and easily visible to all in the auditorium. The slate of performers is yet to be determined, but Center audiences are hoping for the return of the bubble artist who previously appeared to rave reviews.
The Sioux City Magic Club is associated with the International Brotherhood of Magicians. It is officially the T. Nelson Downs Ring #24 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, so named to honor T. Nelson Downs, a famous magician of the early 1900s, from Marshalltown, Iowa.
The performance has been scheduled for October in recognition of National Magic Week (Oct. 25-31) and the anniversary of Harry Houdini’s death on Halloween of 1926.
As with all Sundays at the Center programming, admission is free and a reception will follow the program.
