The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center invites you to its next Summer Series Outdoor Shows being held on the “Spirit of Discovery Outdoor Stage.” Admission is free. The audience will be positioned in a grassy area of Center’s campus, so they are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as well as refreshments. In case of rain, the show will be moved inside to the auditorium.
On Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 at 7:00pm, come be regaled by Showtune: The Music of Jerry Herman. This revue showcases one of the most successful Broadway songwriters of his time and the range of his songs, from the playfully comic to the tenderly bittersweet. The show is filled with surprises and rides like a roller coaster!
Performed by talented local singers, you will thoroughly enjoy hearing familiar favorites and discovering soon to be favorites. You will hear songs from his well-known Broadway musicals Mame, Hello Dolly, La Cage aux Folles, and from his lesser-known shows Mack and Mabel, Dear World, and A Day in Hollywood.
