The Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is pleased to introduce our two new employees. Kristine Bornholtz has been hired as the Assistant Executive Director. She was formerly the Executive Director of Women Aware and has worked with many local nonprofits. Kristine has a Master’s Degree in Education and spent a decade as the Director of Studies at a language and training institution in Prague, Czech Republic. She enjoys travelling around the world, music, and history.
Elizabeth Albright has been hired as part-time Education and Events Assistant. Her primary duties will include assisting with producing year-round children’s programs and activities, assist with group and school tours, and weekend programs. She has spent the last 10 years as an elementary teacher and currently substitutes at Lawton Bronson Community Schools. She lives in Lawton with her husband, three sons, and a Bassett hound named Rudy.
Executive Director Tracy Bennett exclaims, “We are thrilled to welcome the creative new minds of Kristine and Elizabeth.” Everyone is invited to come and meet them. Mark your next three months to attend their special programs on Wednesdays “What’s on Wednesdays (WOW).”
