“Spring is in the Air” with Harpist Mary Watts

On Sunday, March 24, Mary Watts, harpist, will celebrate “Spring is in the Air.”  Uplifting music including Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “It Might as Well Be Spring” and selections Claude Debussy, Aaron Copeland, and Traditional Irish. Watts enjoys performing music for others and educating her listeners about the harp and the importance of music and the performing arts in our lives. Former Principal Harpist for the Des Moines Symphony, Mary currently performs with orchestras and ensembles throughout the region. Watts received her Bachelors and Graduate degrees from New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. A native of Lincoln, NE, Mary resides in the Siouxland area with her beloved pets.
